How Three Big Lines Handle Cruise Coupons

Every cruise line presents its offers differently. Here is how Carnival, Royal Caribbean and MSC describe theirs in their own published terms (checked October 2026). We list no codes or amounts — they change constantly — but knowing how each line works tells you where to look.

Cruise Coupons: Carnival

Searches for cruise coupons Carnival usually turn up rate codes. Carnival’s offer terms pages typically describe an offer by a rate code that you request when booking with Carnival or your travel agent, and some mailed offers can be redeemed online. Many past-guest offers are limited to eligible members, sometimes to the named member sailing, and say they cannot be combined with other discounted or promotional offers.

Carnival’s loyalty program also changed recently: Carnival Rewards replaced the VIFP Club in September 2026. If you hold older past-guest offers, check how they carry over on Carnival’s site, or ask your advisor.

Cruise Coupons: Royal Caribbean

For cruise coupons Royal Caribbean style, the line publishes promotional code terms. In them, Royal Caribbean says a promo code must be applied at checkout at the time of booking to receive the savings, that some promotions are applied automatically using the best discount available for the booking, and that code offers are for new individual bookings, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Its published terms have also listed what code offers do and do not combine with — for example, not with group, travel agent, net or interline rates, or with casino promotions. Terms vary by offer, so read the one attached to your code.

MSC Cruise Coupons

For MSC cruise coupons, MSC’s promotional terms have described e-coupon offers sent after signing up for SMS messages: single-use, applied per stateroom, and with stated limits on which other discounts they combine with. MSC Voyagers Club members also see club discounts and member offers, each with its own combinability rules.

As with every line, the offer’s own terms at booking are what count.

Other Lines

Norwegian, Princess, Celebrity, Holland America and the rest publish their promotions and terms on their own deals pages, and send targeted offers to subscribers and past guests. Cruising for Less explains the common offer types across lines, and Official Cruise Directory lists cruise sites across our network.
